NEW DAWN FOR ODM PARTY AFTER THE LOSS OF THE FOUNDING STRONG PILLAR

NEW ERA IN ODM.

The Orange Democratic Movement Party has vowed to work with Kenya Kwanza Government ahead of 2027 general election. Speaking today during Nyanza delegates meeting at Bondo chaired by the Chairperson Governor of Homabay County Hon. Gladys Wanga, they came into agreement of working with Kenya Kwanza stating that was the wish of their party leader the Late Raila Odinga.

Also in the meeting they officially endorsed Siaya Senetor Oburu Odinga as the successor of Raila Odinga promising to accord him support.
"We always tells baba that if he wants us to go right,we go right, if it's left it's left and we have to obey that." Rosa Abuyu Mp Kisumu East.

Since the demise of Rt Hon Raila Odinga, Bondo has been the center for political strategy as guest and leaders from different part of the country pays their last respect by visiting the grave site.
"Governors, MCA's and other leaders today we have endorsed our new party leader and we will remain in ODM". Hon Otiende Amollo MP Rarieda.

Women rep Kisumu County Hon Ruth Odinga also promised to accord support to her brother. However she warned the politicians who normally hangs on Raila's coat as she says the party will not elect those who are not liked by the people.

She added that Oburu Odinga has all the capacity to lead ODM and said that Raila Odinga always consulted Oburu before making a decision and mostly leaders passed through Oburu before reaching to Raila. She said Oburu played a bigger role in decision making within the party.

Internal wrangles has been seen in ODM party since the demise of Raila Odinga and it has drawned public attention as top leaders are coming out with different opinions.

During the burial of Odinga, President William Ruto as one of the founders of ODM, vowed to protect the party and ensure it remains strong.

Former CS Najib Balala also said in one of his interviews that he's willing to come back and take charge as the party leader.

However the party still remains at stake ahead of 2027 and it is on watch .
