Control Union Kenya is a certification body based in Kenya and also other parts of the countries i.e Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda,Cote D'Ivoire(Ivory Coast) and worldwide with their main office in Netherlands.
The main activity is certification of different organs including food safety, agricultural products, inspections and pest control.

Speaking during Mashinani initiative, the managing director gave the reason behind the program where he stated that they visit places where production are taking place and check if they comply with the requirements standards and the farmers get certificates which enable them to access Market.

"*We came up with the program in order to reach those who still don't have the full information about how their products reach the market outside the country."* He explained. "*Many farmers knew their products are exported but they don't know how it's being done."* He added.

He finalized by giving the benefits of doing Certification whereby a farmer gets a better buyer without relying on Middle men.
He urged the government to partner with expacts in the agriculture industry to help farmers gets better international markets with good produce
